Autumn reminds us that letting go is a natural part of growth. Trees do not shed their leaves because they have failed, nor are they pruned because something is wrong. They release what has served its season, creating the conditions for what comes next.
Discernment follows a similar rhythm. It is the quiet practice of noticing which ideas, assumptions, and ways of seeing continue to nourish us, and which may simply have remained through habit or familiarity. Through this lens, this issue explores the stories we inherit, the voices we trust, and the beliefs we carry forward.

Closing Reflection
Autumn has a quiet way of changing the landscape, revealing what was no longer firmly attached. Perhaps reflection works in much the same way. Rarely all at once, more often through small moments that help us recognize what we wish to carry forward and what we are finally ready to leave behind.
